New Podcast: Interview with Age Pryor – Shanks’ Pony, Wellington Ukulele Orchestra and Woolshed Sessions
Well after being away for weeks and weeks, I came back with three new podcasts two short weeks ago. Just when I thought it would be a bit before I got to a new one I managed to catch up with Age Pryor and we had a great chat.
We discussed his solo work, collaborative efforts with Fly My Pretties, Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra, and his most recent work with Woolshed Sessions.
Age is such an incredible musician and well he is just an all around great guy. I am a bigger fan now more than ever.

Thanks for another great show. I downloaded it as soon the notification appeared in my feed reader. A great interview which made me appreciate Age’s music even more.
I especially liked the insights into the songwriting process and how he has evolved as a musician. I had also wondered about that “toy” used on the guitar in the Red Bull Sessions – great to have that explained…
Great to have a sneak preview of the Woolshed Sessions. Looking forward to the next episode of Kiwi by Proxy.

What Justin was using in that Red Bull footage plagued me for months! It was great to finally hear the method behind the madness! haha.
I love the way Age thinks musically.
I too am excited to have the entire album. I can’t wait to hear the whole thing!
Next podcast should be music from Loop recordings with an interview with Mikee (owner and founder of Loop).
